May 19, 2026 - Brendan Fraser
Tuesday, May 19 · 44 min · ★ 2.8 on TMDB
Trump taps acting attorney general and former personal lawyer Todd Blanche as reports swirl that his $1.8 billion IRS settlement could become a January 6 slush fund. Meanwhile, the president allegedly boosts his own stock buys by praising companies he’s invested in, the White House ballroom gets “complex” architecture and donor attention, and Ronny Chieng uses his law degree to unpack the corruption. Michael Kosta adds more absurd headlines: ube coffee sends purple yam demand soaring, counterfeit perfume is tainted with horse urine, and one aggrieved billionaire claims “tax the rich” is hate speech. Then Brendan Fraser joins Ronny to talk about his new film, Pressure, why the scariest creative risks are often the most rewarding, how he rebuilt his career, and how the movie explores arrogance, bad leadership, and ego under pressure. He also hints at another Mummy movie.
