October 26, 2026 - Matthew Cole
Monday, October 26 · 50 min · ★ 1.0 on TMDB
Jon Stewart breaks down Trump’s closing pitch before the midterms, from celebrating soaring oil-company profits and attacking Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed to promising help for Camp Lejeune veterans only if Republicans win. Stewart also tackles Trump’s defense of abusive mothers, Obama’s memorable Cheesecake Factory jab, and Trump’s claims about who he represents. Later, investigative journalist Matthew Cole joins Stewart to discuss his book, "Princes and Thieves: Jared Kushner and Mohamed bin Zayed’s Secret Plot to Remake the Middle East". Cole details his five-year investigation into alleged financial arrangements between Jared Kushner and leaders in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, while noting that Kushner’s attorney strongly denies the book’s claims. Cole, however, remains confident in his reporting.
