Mitch McConnell dispels rumors of his death just as Anthropic insiders warn AI could wipe us out in as little as six months. Thumbs up, Mitch! Josh Johnson covers the headlines, including Trump’s answer to the AI threat: everything will be fine if we have a “high IQ president.” Which may be an issue. Michael Kosta asks whether solar geoengineering can cool the planet, sitting down with Make Sunsets founder Luke Iseman, who’s battling climate change with sulphur-filled balloons. Is it a real fix or just hot air? With help from climate experts Shuchi Talati and David Keith, Kosta goes full Walter White to investigate. Danielle Brooks also joins Johnson to discuss her new film, “If I Go Will They Miss Me,” her on-location shoot in Watts, honoring the woman behind her character, and how motherhood shapes the roles she chooses.
