Eloy Domínguez Serén

Eloy Domínguez Serén was born in 1985 in Simes, Galicia. He studied in Barcelona and Milan before moving to Sweden, where he began his filmmaking work. His practice moves between documentary and fiction, with a particular focus on displacement, geographical and emotional margins, forms of belonging, and the relationship between body, territory and identity. His films have been selected and awarded at some of the leading international festivals for documentary and auteur cinema, including IDFA, Visions du Réel, Clermont-Ferrand, Cinéma du Réel, FID Marseille, True/False, Mar del Plata, BAFICI, Edinburgh and Jeonju, and have been screened at institutions such as Anthology Film Archives, the…
